Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using the http://www.billysbus.co.uk website and dog walking/daycare services (the "Service") operated by BILLY'S BUS LTD ("us", "we", or "our").

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

1. Service Description

Billy's Bus provides dog walking and daycare services in the United Kingdom. We are expanding across different regions. Our services include collection of your dog(s), supervised activities, and safe return to your specified location.

2. Service Area

We currently operate in the United Kingdom and are expanding across different regions. Specific service areas may be subject to availability and capacity constraints. We reserve the right to decline service to areas outside our current operational regions.

3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Booking Requirements

Bookings must be made through our online platform up to 10:30pm the day before the required service date. Bookings made after this time may not be processed for the following day.

3.2 Booking Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Billy's Bus. We will notify you of booking confirmation via email or through your account dashboard.

3.3 Recurring Bookings

Customers with active subscriptions may set up recurring booking patterns. These patterns will be subject to available credits and capacity constraints.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Customer Cancellations

Customers must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel a booking. Cancellations made with appropriate notice will result in credits being returned to your account for future use.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may result in forfeiture of credits for that booking.

4.2 Refund Policy

Refunds for cancelled services will be issued as credits to your account, not as monetary refunds. Credits can be used for future bookings within the validity period of your subscription.

4.3 Billy's Bus Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather conditions, vehicle breakdowns, or staff unavailability. In such cases, we will:

  • Contact affected customers as soon as reasonably possible
  • Offer to rearrange the booking for an alternative date
  • Credit your account if rescheduling is not possible

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Payment Schedule

All subscription payments are processed weekly via Stripe, our secure payment provider. By subscribing to our service, you authorize weekly automatic payments.

5.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details on our servers. All payment information is handled securely by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS standards.

5.3 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt to contact you and retry the payment. Continued payment failures may result in suspension of your account and service until payment is received.

5.4 Late Payment

Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension or termination of your account and access to services. Outstanding bookings may be cancelled without notice if payment is not received.

6. Credits and Subscriptions

6.1 Credit Allocation

Credits are allocated weekly based on your subscription plan. Each booking consumes one credit per dog. For example, booking 2 dogs for one day will consume 2 credits.

6.2 Credit Usage

You may only book the number of days per week that your subscription allows when divided by the number of dogs. For example, a subscription with 3 credits per week for 3 dogs allows 1 day per week (3 credits ÷ 3 dogs = 1 day).

6.3 Credit Expiry

Credits do not roll over between billing cycles unless otherwise specified. Unused credits will expire at the end of each weekly billing period.

6.4 Subscription Changes

You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time. Changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Downgrades may result in loss of future bookings that exceed your new credit allocation.

7. Dog Requirements and Customer Obligations

7.1 Accurate Information

Customers must provide accurate and complete information about their dog(s), including but not limited to:

  • Dog name, breed, age, and size
  • Vaccination records and health status
  • Behavioral characteristics and special requirements
  • Emergency contact information
  • Veterinary contact details

7.2 False Information

Providing false or misleading information about your dog(s) may result in immediate termination of your account without refund. This is essential for the safety of our staff, other dogs, and the integrity of our service.

7.3 Dog Health and Behavior

Specific requirements regarding vaccinations, age restrictions, and behavioral standards are detailed in our FAQ section. By using our service, you confirm that your dog(s) meet these requirements. We reserve the right to refuse service to any dog that does not meet our safety standards.

8. Liability and Insurance

8.1 Our Liability

Billy's Bus maintains appropriate insurance coverage for our operations. Details regarding liability for injuries, escapes, or damage are outlined in our FAQ section. Please review this carefully before using our service.

8.2 Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring their dog(s) are fit and healthy for the activities provided. You acknowledge that dog walking and daycare activities carry inherent risks.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Billy's Bus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Photos and Videos

All photos and videos taken during our services are the property of Billy's Bus. By using our service, you grant us permission to use these photos and videos for marketing, promotional, and operational purposes.

9.2 Marketing Use

We may use photos and videos of your dog(s) on our website, social media platforms, and in other marketing materials. If you do not wish for your dog's images to be used for marketing purposes, please contact us at laura@billysbus.co.uk.

9.3 Service Marks

The Billy's Bus name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Billy's Bus Ltd. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission.

10. Service Modifications and Pricing

10.1 Right to Modify

We reserve the right to modify our services, pricing, and subscription plans at any time. We will provide at least 7 days' notice of any changes that affect your current subscription.

10.2 Price Changes

Changes to pricing will not affect your current billing cycle. New prices will take effect from your next renewal date following the notice period.

10.3 Service Interruptions

We may need to suspend or interrupt services for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances. We will attempt to provide advance notice where possible but are not liable for any consequences of service interruptions.

11. Account Termination

11.1 Termination by Customer

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods.

11.2 Termination by Billy's Bus

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to services for any of the following reasons:

  • Violation of these Terms and Conditions
  • Failure to make timely payments
  • Provision of false or misleading information
  • Behavior that endangers our staff, other customers, or animals
  • Any other reason at our sole discretion with appropriate notice

11.3 Effects of Termination

Upon termination, you will lose access to your account, unused credits, and all scheduled bookings. No refunds will be provided for terminated accounts unless required by law.

12. Data Protection and Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our Service, you consent to our use of cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved through good faith negotiations between the parties. If negotiations fail, disputes will be resolved through the courts of England and Wales.

13.3 Jurisdiction

You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for the resolution of any disputes.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Billy's Bus Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of and access to the Service
  • Your violation of any term of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right
  • Any harm caused by your dog(s) to our staff, other customers, or other animals

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 7 days' notice of any material changes. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Billy's Bus Ltd regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
